A well-regarded software/cloud business has created an opening for an all rounded Commercial Lawyer for 12 month contract (Mat Leave). This opportunity is suitable for a Commercial Lawyer with a minimum of 4 yrs PQE who is keen to develop solid IT experience. The successful candidate will have thorough commercial contract experience with some legal knowledge of IP/IT commercial law, whilst data protection and employment law experience is advantageous. You will provide expert commercial legal advice to Senior Sales Managers, Field Marketing and Regional Sales and Marketing Operations. As part of your role you will work closely with senior management delivering legal solutions and advising on commercially challenging matters in an effective and pragmatic manner.
For this role candidates will need to have a minimum of 4 yrs PQE having gained solid commercial law experience from a well-regarded law firm. Must be a business minded lawyer with the ability to work autonomously and provide pragmatic commercial advice and solutions. There is flexibility to work from either the Reading or Newcastle offices.
