Commercial Solicitor / Associate – This leading corporate / commercial firm is looking for a solicitor with proven general transactional commercial contracts experience to join its growing team based in Manchester

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

• Job title: Commercial Solicitor (Associate or Senior Associate)
• Location: Manchester
• Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 +
• Reports to: Partner – Head of Commercial
• Previous Experience: Commercial solicitor with proven background in general commercial contracts. NQs will also be considered, though ideally they must have completed at least one seat in commercial with perhaps further experience gained as a paralegal before the commencement of their training contract.

A GROWING COMMERCIAL TEAM

The successful applicant will be joining an expanding commercial team within a leading national corporate / commercial firm. The work involves advising on a mixture of general non-contentious commercial contract instructions from SMEs to large publicly listed companies and major international brands.

The structure and the sector-driven nature of its approached means that you will work on a wide variety of high profile transactions across a number of key sectors. The Manchester department also works closely with lawyers in its other offices, further broadening the scope of work available.

• Proven experience in advising of general commercial contracts whether supply/distribution agreements, franchise arrangements, agency contracts, outsourcing and so on;
• Strong academic record;
• Practical and common sense approach to delivering advice;
• Excellent client service levels.
