The firm is now looking to recruit a dynamic solicitor with a solid background in residential property work to head up the residential conveyancing team. This position is based on the outskirts of the lovely Cathedral city of Salisbury. With the area’s rich history giving rise to a fascinating mix of buildings ranging from agricultural properties to historic buildings, church-owned properties, new builds and lots more, the firm receives an exciting level of quality instructions.
THE ROLE
The firm is undergoing an extended period of expansion and strategic planning and although initially you will be heading up a team of six lawyers, it is intended that the department will double in size within a matter of months. You will have at least 5 years’ PQE and previous management experience is desirable, although not necessarily essential. The firm offers an extremely flexible working practice, and this role might suit someone looking to return to work after a sabbatical, following parental leave or as the result of a relocation. THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Be a 5+years’ PQE solicitor with solid experience in residential property matters;
Have good IT skills and be familiar with using a case management system;
Be comfortable working under pressure, with the ability to prioritise your workload, possessing excellent time-management skills and comfortable using case-management systems;
Demonstrate exceptional client care and communication skills;
Have an excellent grasp of marketing and business development with the ability to build a strong network of referrals.
