In-House co/com role for Corporate Lawyer - 2 yrs+

If you are a c.2 yrs+ PQE corporate or co/com lawyer at a top law firm and are now keen to move in-house then this may be the opportunity for you.

Working closely with the highly respected UK/IR Legal Director and the UK based General Counsel, both former ‘magic circle’ corporate lawyers, you will be at the heart of the business in Central London. The emphasis of your role will be less on transactional work and more on supporting the day to day operations of the UK/Irish business on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters: drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (including templates); company secretarial; procurement and partnership issues; IP/digital issues; internal training; horizon scanning, corporate advisory, occasional dispute management etc. You will also support the General Counsel, as required, on wider international/Group projects such as corporate restructuring, refinancing or M&A transactions.

You will be a bright, practical and proactive UK qualified lawyer with solid co/com experience gained in a leading law firm and strong academic credentials (min. 2:1 degree). Some prior in-house experience on secondment or otherwise would be a plus but not essential. On offer is a salary of £75k (max) plus 10% bonus and the chance to enjoy a better balance and a good level of control over how you manage your workload.
