South coast firm seeking a dedicated Private Client Lawyer.
Our client is a leading multi-office practice who deliver a comprehensive range of legal service to individuals and businesses based both locally and further afield. The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and driven Private Client Lawyer to join our clients’ thriving practice in the Bexhill area. With a choice of offices in which to be based, the successful Lawyer will become part of a growing team which includes a number of the firms’ partners and handle a demanding caseload of Private Client matters. Duties will include: attending clients at the office and external locations to take instructions; Will drafting; preparing and registering powers of attorney; applying for grants of probate; estate administration; elderly client matters and; succession planning. The ideal Lawyer will also participate in business development activities for the department and firm as a whole.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of two years’ PQE gained within a reputable Private Client department.
You must have excellent technical skills with a broad range of expertise across all aspects of Wills and Probate work.
You will be client-focused with a professional and empathetic approach.
Additional accreditations such as STEP or SfE are desirable.
You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels.
Prior business development experience and a willingness to become involved in marketing activities would be highly advantageous.
