An opportunity for a Property Litigation Associate has arisen with a leading full-service law firm to join their growing team based in Birmingham. This role is rewarded with a competitive salary and presents an excellent opportunity to join a team which can offer a varied and challenging caseload.
About the role
This national Property Litigation team of over 30 lawyers is highly regarded in legal directories and advises on all aspects of property related disputes to a broad mix of commercial and public sector clients including high net worth individuals.
The Property Litigation Associate will provide advice to a range of Landlords, Tenants and major landowners on broad range of property related issues including high value complex property disputes, property contracts and insolvency, rights of way, boundary disputes and leasehold enfranchisement. The team have a particular specialism in retail and leisure, development and agricultural so a good grounding in these sectors would be viewed favourably.
About you
The team is currently comprised of a Directories rated Partner, a Senior Associate, 2 Paralegals and a Trainee and are looking to grow their offering by bringing in an experienced Associate who is comfortable managing their own caseload in addition to assisting the juniors members of the team. Given the team structure, this role offers genuine career progression.
The successful Property Litigation Associate will be a UK qualified lawyer with ideally 3 years post qualification experience in Property Litigation gained at a reputable national practice. This does not preclude someone with more or less qualified experience from applying for the role.
You will enjoy black letter law and will be able to demonstrate exceptional technical skills, excellent organisational and communication skills, a high degree of initiative along with the ability to provide a first rate client service both internally and externally.
