Senior Associate - International Law Firm

• 8-10 Years’ PQE (UK Equivalent)
• M&A/Transactional

Due to continued growth, a need has been identified for a Senior lawyer to join the expanding team of this major international law firm.

To be considered for this position you will have qualified in a common law jurisdiction and will have a minimum of 8 years’ pqe and will have been exposed to high-profile deals, from inception to completion

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing technically sound legal opinions and technical advice to clients
• Responsible for assisting on negotiating, drafting and reviewing complex documentation
• Support senior fee earners by providing technically sound legal advice directly to clients with appropriate supervision
• Responsible for the quality of client services provided by self and direct reports including support staff
• Responsible for building and maintaining productive working relationships with clients and staff alike
• Responsible for preparation of fee matter estimates and quotations

Competencies

• PQE of at least 8 years
• Experience within a Leading Firm is essential
• Excellent academic credentials are a must
• Ability and confidence to run deals in a fast-paced environment (and sometimes with minimal supervision).
• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills, a team player and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
