A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor with c. 4-7 years PQE to join this well-established specialist insurance litigation practice and progress your career. 

Our Property Risks and Coverage team handles high value, complex, domestic and international, liability and subrogated recovery property damage claims for a variety of insurer and corporate clients, as well as advising on related policy coverage issues.

You will work closely with the team’s Partners on a range of major loss claims including:

  • Fire and explosion
  • Flood and escape of water
  • Ground movement
  • Structural defect/building collapse
  • Construction and engineering failure
  • Defective products
  • Environmental contamination
  • Impact damage
  • Theft

    As well as handling your own caseload.

    You will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in a similar firm of handling property damage and coverage claims
  • A good understanding of the insurance market and a willingness to be involved in client development
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong IT skills and experience of working within a case management system
  • A proven team player with a positive, can do attitude and a commercial, pragmatic approach
