Contract Manager BENELUX

Our client is a world leader in their sector. They have over 100 offices in over 50 countries.

An outstanding opportunity has now arisen for a Contract Manager to the international legal team. The position will be based in the Amsterdam office. You will be working very closely with the attorneys in Brussels and Switzerland but will also be liaising with and supporting colleagues in other locations internationally. You will be responsible for handling, preparing, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating of a broad variety of complex commercial contracts. Furthermore, you will be reviewing and assisting with public tenders and request for proposals, support the business with appropriate forms of agreements on a variety of engagement related legal issues, create, update and distribute standard form contracts and related documentation, manage a database of contractual arrangements and work on broader projects in support of wider firm initiatives.

The right candidate will have a Masters' degree in law from a European jurisdiction (ideally a Belgian or Italian degree) and excellent English skills. Furthermore, you will be fluent in Dutch and Italian. English and Dutch language skills are a must, Italian is highly desirable. To succeed in this role you will have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, work well under tight deadlines and are able to handle high volume of work, recognize priorities, and manage time effectively. You are able to work independently and are also a good team player with excellent communication skills.
