You will ideally be 3-5 years PQE and have excellent broad corporate experience, from a Magic/Silver Sicrcle firm, as you will be joining a worldwide legal team operating from London, MENA, Europe and the United States.

The role will cover the following key areas:


  • assisting with group corporate legal issues, including advising on public company compliance and providing support to the Treasury, Finance, Tax and Company Secretarial teams;
  • providing accurate and effective advice on corporate matters of all natures, across jurisdictions and business units, including advising on day-to-day corporate/company law administrative matters (e.g. company registration matters, minutes of board/shareholder meetings, shareholder resolutions and proxies);
  • participating in business development projects, including acquisitions/disposals of products, businesses and companies and joint ventures;
  • providing support to the M&A team, the business development team for the continental European business and assisting with US transactions; and
  • supporting development of in-house expertise, both within the group legal team and across business divisions, and developing internal precedents.

    • The post may require the successful candidate to manage external legal counsel, where appropriate, and internal resources in the London team. The position reports directly to the Head of Corporate Legal and is based in central London.
