Our client is a leading firm in the region, headquartered in fantastic central Cardiff offices, and they have just announced this new vacancy working within their Financial Mis-Selling team which is part of their wider, very successful Litigation department. To be clear this isn't PPI claims and the like, the team act for clients who have often lost significant amounts of money, often part of their pension monies, after being advised to make investments in various schemes and financial products which often promise fantastic returns and a safe, secure home for the capital, but where in fact the money is often lost for good and the risks haven't been explained and explored. A lot of the work involves dealing with the Financial Services Ombudsman or directly with the FSCS but there are also instances where the matter does in the end become a matter of litigation to try and recover the monies involved and this is still a fast-paced and quickly evolving area of law and practice so the cases can be high profile and are certainly very rewarding to pursue successfully for the client.

Our client is keen to talk with Litigation lawyers already based and working in South Wales or candidates looking to return back to the area, and they can be quite open-minded about your current area of Litigation experience.. they certainly don't expect you to necessarily already have some litigation experience in this specialist area.. you may be currently dealing with quite a general range of Commercial and Civil Litigation for example.
