THE COMPANY:
Our client, a reputable financial services firm is seeking Data Protection Lawyer to join their legal team on a permanent basis.
THE ROLE:
This In House Counsel / Lawyer role will be reporting directly to the Head of Legal and will work alongside the wider team.
The role will involve:
- GDPR implementation experience across the business to ensure they are compliant as an organization
- Providing practical legal advice in the area of data privacy and protection in both the UK and other markets
- Provide training on data protection and policy matters to the business
THE CANDIDATE:
- The ideal candidate will have c.3 years PQE+, as a Data Privacy Lawyer with experience gained with a law firm or in house
- In-depth data protection experience (knowledge of the Data Protection Act) would be ideal
