Conveyancer

My client is looking to recruit a Conveyancer to join its busy Conveyancing department in Sheffield.

You will progress instructions from lender clients in relation to mortgages of freehold and leasehold premises. The ideal candidate must have an excellent technical understanding of the law in this area and be able to work well as part of a team.

To be considered for the role candidates will:
- Be able to manage a general residential caseload from initial instruction through to post completion unaided to include sales and purchase, plot sales and acquisitions, lease extensions as well as secured lending matters, transfer of equity, remortgages and first registration of title.
- Be confident in d rafting complex legal instruments including residential leases, contracts and related documents
- Have the ability to maintain and develop relationships with locate Estate Agents and Financial Advisors and other introducers as you will be acting for a wide range of clients including portfolio management.
- Ideally be a Conveyancer with around 2 years experience however candidates with more will be considered.

In addition to the above candidates should also:
Have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Demonstrate a working knowledge of computerised case management systems
