A fantastic opportunity in Newcastle for a Corporate Lawyer to join a fantastic employer as in house corporate counsel.
The role would join a small specialist legal team of the larger in house legal team and suit a solicitor with excellent academics and a corporate/commercial background with no less than 2pqe.
You will work closely with the Company Secretary and Group General Counsel and act as an internal legal adviser in relation to a broad range of legal matters e.g
Contractual arrangements;
Company law;
Mergers, acquisitions and corporate transactions;
Brand protection;
Information technology and intellectual property;
Corporate structure & constitutional documentation;
Business development activities;
Data protection;
Solicitors professional conduct rules;
