My client are looking for a commercially experienced Contracts Manager to join their Research and Development team in Bristol. Salary is dependent on experience but will be in the region of £30-35k.
Operating on a national scale, my client have offices across the UK, offering travel opportunities for those who like a change of scenery. You would be working closely with NHS bodies, universities and research scientists in the private sector. As Contracts Manager you will be responsible for researching, reviewing and negotiating contracts with research funders and providers. In addition to supporting Senior Managers with complex contractual issues you will be responsible for managing relationships with research departments across the UK.
Whilst you do not need to be a qualified solicitor, a legal background and demonstrable experience of working with research departments and functions are necessary for this role, and any experience with Intellectual Property or patents administration would be highly advantageous. We are looking to speak with highly professional Contracts Managers who would relish the challenge this role offers, and who can adhere to the strictest levels of confidentiality and discretion. You will be involved in delivering strategic support to the Research and Development programme, so a mature individual who is confident in their skillset is required, as you will work closely with senior management.
This Contracts Manager position offers exciting progression opportunities and real responsibility and autonomy and is based in central Bristol.
If you are looking for a demanding and rewarding career move in Contract Management where you'll be at the heart of vital healthcare provision and research, then we want to hear from you. Please submit your CV for consideration if you feel this position is a good fit for your skills and experience.
