In House Legal Counsel – Technology sector – Leeds or Sheffield

Fantastic opportunity for a commercial lawyer to join one of the country’s leading technology companies, based at their offices in Leeds or Sheffield.

You will work as part of a highly regarded legal team supporting commercial colleagues on a large variety of legal advice. This will include drafting and negotiating a range of agreements including procurement, affiliate, pricing, sales and marketing. You will also advise on consumer credit matters and resolving customer complaints. You will analyse efficiencies and implement processes. You will manage disputes and advise on employment, IP, licensing and outsourcing matters. The role will also entail managing regulatory, compliance and data-protection issues including advice on data breaches.

This position will suit someone who is seeking a broad legal role and the ability to develop commercial acumen.

You will be a UK a qualified lawyer with at least 2 years’ PQE and either a general commercial or consumer background. You will be an enthusiastic team player, with the energy and drive to see projects through.
