An opportunity for an experienced intellectual property lawyer to join the highly respected IP practice of a major international law firm. This young, dynamic IP team acts for a number of high profile international 'household names', and has been involved in many reported intellectual property decisions before the UK and European Courts. The team deals with the full range of soft IP litigation and non-contentious IP advisory work, and this role is no exception. Notably this is a standalone, fully self-sufficient practice, and not reliant on other practices within the firm. Soft IP remains the focus of the practice, although the team is growing its patents practice and so there will also be the opportunity to get involved in some hard IP work if that is what you would like to do. The successful candidate is likely to have around 5 years PQE from a top tier intellectual property practice, and will have an excellent academic background and communication skills, and be used to playing an active role in business development.
