Our client, a popular City firm, known for its cohesive environment, is looking to add to its corporate tax practice another junior to mid level associate, preferably with around 2pqe, however there may be flexibility on this, and with a good range of corporate tax experience. This person may come from another respected City or major regional practice. This team undertakes a very broad range of corporate tax work so this will be a generalist role which would, for example, suit someone looking to escape a more niche role in a larger City tax practice and to have exposure to a wider range of clients. Whilst this is certainly a generalist role, it would be useful if candidates had some experience of share schemes and M&A tax deeds (in particular), and/or real estate tax, and/or employment tax.
