Childcare Lawyer

Childcare Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period.

This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a busy workload within a popular Childcare team. This fast-paced role will require the successful candidate to hit the ground running, therefore it is essential that previous experience of working as a Childcare Lawyer within a local authority is held

The successful candidate will run their own caseload of approximately 3 pre-proceedings cases and 6 in-proceedings. You will be an experienced Childcare Lawyer, able to prioritise your workload and manage files from beginning to end.

Previous advocacy experience is essential, as you will be required to conduct advocacy in the following;

• Case management hearings
• Issue resolution hearings
• Final hearings (non-contentious) up to 1 day long

This local authority offers an excellent working environment and a day working from home. The nearest train station is also within close proximity, making this location easily commutable from London and the Home Counties.
