Prosecutions Lawyer

Prosecutions Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to undertake a fast-paced role within a large public sector organisation.

Our client is looking for a Prosecutions Lawyer who is available to start on short notice, therefore they are keen to hear from experienced candidates who can hit the ground running. You will be taking over an existing caseload and conducting magistrates court cases.

The successful candidate will need previous experience within the following areas;

Criminal Prosecutions cases

Licensing committee

Attending magistrates court

Experience in managing large volumes of case work

Previous experience of working within a local authority environment would be hugely beneficial, although not essential. Furthermore, if Higher Rights of Audience are held, that would be advantageous for this role, although again this is not a necessity.

The office is well located, situated within walking distance from public transport links.
