My Client is looking for corporate NQ to 2 year commercial counsel to join its team based in South West London.

My Client is an international energy company and major UK utilities provider.

Description

Duties with this role will include the review, drafting and support (or lead depending on complexity) in the negotiation of contracts and issues arising from their operation and management especially TMT, research and development and commercial contracts.

This lawyer will also be engaged with supporting corporate transactions and initiatives led by the Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions team and well as assisting in creating and maintaining awareness of processes and procedures relating to compliance matters such as Data Protection Act and IT Security.

The successful candidate will also be required to liaise with and influence stakeholders company personnel regarding contractual positions, commercial strategy and approach to legal matters.

Profile

The successful candidates is likely to be a UK qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 0 - 2 years PQE.

They will have good knowledge and expertise in one or more the following areas of commercial, IPR, corporate or TMT law.

Candidates with both in house and private practice backgrounds will be considered.
