In House - Commercial/IT Lawyer

OUR CLIENT

We have received a mandate to recruit a commercial/IT lawyer c 2 - 3 PQE to join an established in house legal team of a high profile global professional services business.

THE ROLE

As a key member of this in house legal function the post holder will be expected to support the legal business in the UK and Europe , as part of fast growing global organisation you will be expected to work alongside stakeholders and business teams.

The workload will include ;- the negotiation and drafting of vendor and partner agreements with a focus on software agreements, outsourcing, consulting and professional services arrangements.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide commercial, strategic and legal advice to the business and management teams.

There will be an opportunity to advise on corporate work, M & A activity, data protection, information security and potentially contentious matters.

THE CANDIDATE

As a member of this global business, you will be expected to have relevant technical skills with an IT/IP/ commercial background, preferably with in house experience. Applicants must have well developed communication skills and the capability of handling a varied commercial workload within an international business .
