PARALEGAL. Libel and defamation 25k

The firm is looking for a Media/ libel and defamation paralegal to work closely with Partners, Associates across the Media department and focusing on very specific work. The role is extremely varied and will provide exposure to a broad range of matters.

Ideal candidates will have experience of working in a legal environment. This role is likely to appeal to someone who has a proven interest and focus in the areas of media and is seeking a long term career as part of an established team operating within a highly profitable, long established and reputable London firm.

Candidates need to be ambitious and must be able to complete court forms, draft witness statements and create court bundles within litigation. They must have ideally  completed or be in the final year of the LPC but this is not essential.

The firm’s working environment is very “hands on” and a sound commercial sense and ability to handle clients is essential. The candidate should also have file/time management skills, good client liaison abilities and should be able to work under pressure on high profile projects with tight deadlines.
