Group Corporate Counsel

I am currently working on a great new role with an international, FTSE Listed, Engineering & Manufacturing organisation based in Gloucestershire.

My client is looking for lawyers with a good mix of corporate/commercial transactional experience to join their growing team as part of a new role.

Description

Responsibilities of the Group Corporate Counsel will include the following:

• Provision of high quality legal advice across the Group.
• Negotiating, drafting, reviewing and approving contracts for acquisitions and disposals.
• Staying current on all relevant legal, statutory, anti-trust and other regulatory requirements and ensure that systems are in place and people are trained to ensure compliance.
• Company Secretarial support and maintaining records of the Company's legal operating structure

Profile

Suitable candidates for the role Group Corporate Counsel will include the following:

• At least 3 years post qualification commercial law experience either in private practice or in-house
• Comprehensive Knowledge of Commercial, Contract and general business law
• Demonstrable experience in Corporate / M&A transactions would be desirable.
• Experience in supporting international transactions is desirable.
