Our client is an international law firm with offices across the United States, Europe and Asia. They provide a full range of international arbitration and dispute resolution, investigations and criminal litigation, financial services enforcement, and intellectual property litigation.
They are now looking to hire a Payroll Specialist on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to progress in the field of Legal Finance.
Responsibilities
Administer and coordinate the pension and benefits schemes.
Prepare and compile monthly and year end payroll and benefits accounts.
Prepare the annual budgets for all salary, fringe benefits, and related professional fees nominal accounts.
Work with Head of Finance, Europe on payment of monthly Partner drawings, profit distributions and personal deductions relating to benefits and personal invoices.
Manage end of year accounting processes - prepare, produce and submit by the required deadlines all end-of-year documentation.
Manage and prepare the annual budgets for all salary, fringe benefits, and professional fees nominal accounts
Candidate Profile
Previous experience of working in payroll; working with a payroll provider preferable in a professional services or legal environment. Experience using ADP Freedom is a pre-requisite for the role.
Ideally a member of the Institute of Payroll Professionals (IPP).
Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of all HRMC and legislative payroll requirements.
Communicate at all levels with clarity, timeliness and appropriateness to achieve a positive outcome.
Flexible, committed, enthusiastic and proactive approach to team and work.
