Senior Legal Counsel EMEA (Cloud)

One of the world's my renowned cloud technology providers now seeks a pragmatic technology lawyer to support the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams with the negotiation process of multi-million dollar deals. You will provide legal expertise and assist with strategic business plans relating to enterprise and technology licensing agreements. This role requires you to assist with marketing and business development initiatives, and global expansion.

The Role
You will act as the primary lawyer for all transactional drafting and negotiation responsibilities on deals, and provide ongoing legal counsel and contract interpretation for senior executives and other business team members. You will report to the Head of Legal (EMEA) and support the US Team on new business initiatives which are being launched in the UK and Ireland, these transactions range from standard contracts to complex, high value agreements. As part of your role you will be expected to participate in other legal projects as directed, including the administration and resolution of legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

The Candidate
Must have a minimum of 10yrs+ PQE with strong transactional and technology licensing experience. The successful candidate will have gained legal experience from a leading international law firm along with a credible in-house legal career focusing in IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications or cloud computing services. Candidates MUST have top class academics with a passion for innovative technology and enjoy working in a fast paced and challenging environment.
