Description of Area of Work

Act as Administrative Support to Claims Handling Unit.

Main Objective

Jobholders are expected to operate computer systems to input data and assist with filing, archiving and general administration duties as and when required.

Main Tasks

  • To scan incoming post and index to the files in Filestream;
  • To attach documents from our email system to Filestream;
  • To allocate/set up new claims to the correct teams;
  • To print files on request and dispatch out;
  • To accurately input and update data on the computer system;
  • To assist with other administration duties as required e.g. filing, post room, etc;
  • To assist with cover for our main reception switchboard;
  • To assist the Litigation team;
  • To seek and to take up opportunities to maintain, develop and enhance performance in role;
  • To support colleagues in their work in order to maintain levels of teamwork and service to the customer;
  • To assist with general administrative support for the counter fraud team and to assist in the collation of MI for this team;
  • To work in accordance with the Data Protection Act, the firm’s Policies and Procedures and any other regularly or business requirement.
