Corporate Solicitor Job with national firm in Taunton

Your new firm
This ever-growing, national firm are looking for a Corporate Solicitor to join their successful team in their Taunton office. The firm are renowned for giving expert advice in a wide variety of sectors across an extensive client base.

Your new role
You will be working closely with colleagues locally and nationally for a wide range of clients including many private companies and their owners in relation to M&A, equity funding and general corporate structuring work. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in bigger deals acting for large national or international businesses. You will take an active involvement in business development activities, helping to build client relationships and grow the practice. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in larger deals, acting for larger national or international businesses.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong client management skills and preferably have 1+ PQE within a similar position, playing a significant role in small or straightforward transactions and acted as an assistant on more complex ones. You will have excellent communication skills which will assist you when involved in business development. As a junior to mid-level corporate lawyer ideally you will have built a solid foundation in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Beyond your technical skills, you will have developed strong client management skills and have a strong interest in business development. You will be a team player and ambitious to progress in your career.
