Description
- To provide advice on general policy matters relating to students and to assist in providing assistance with drafting policy and procedures
- Top provide legal advice on information law matters and deal with contentious case work
- Organise and deliver training in areas of the post-holders expertise
- To respond to day-to-day legal queries
- To undertake student related case work
Profile
we are seeking:
- Qualified Solicitor with good academic background
- Good communicator and ability to build strong relationships
- Knowledge of Higher Education Sector or Education Law or ability to learn the practice area
- Individual can come from a commercial background or another background but must either have excellent academics and a strong legal employment background
- Private Practice candidates and individuals with an Further Education or Higher Education background will be highly desirable
Job Offer
This is an interim role of 6 - 12 months. It is a great role for someone to take their first in-house experience or a great role for an experienced individual.
The daily rate/ salary will be dependent on experience
