Legal Counsel Job in Cirencester with multi-national company

An established, multi-national company with a global presence have a unique new role available for a Corporate Commercial Legal Counsel.

Your new role

Based in Cirencester, you will provide advice, guidance and support to the business on all legal and compliance matters; the role involves the provision of legal support across EMEA as well as localised support in the UK. You will be interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership Team and board Members, therefore you will possess the confidence and gravitas to operate at this level. Your role will include negotiating and drafting customer and vendor agreements, including telecoms, software licensing, SAAS and hosting agreements and customer agreements and terms and conditions. You will provide general legal support and keep abreast with current and new legislation, identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk. The role will also involve assisting the Associate General Counsel with the company secretarial function as well as ensuring all companies' statutory compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

You will possess 2 - 4 years post qualified experience in a corporate/commercial environment, preferably with experience in the ICT industry. Ideally you will possess in-house experience or have undertaken a client secondment, with some experience in handling complex transaction-related issues. Attention to detail and strong negotiating and influencing skills are key.
