Construction Solicitor

I currently have an exciting opportunity in Sheffield for a driven Construction Solicitor to join a well-established and reputable firm with 3 offices across Yorkshire and circa 300 employees.

The vacancy is open to construction solicitors at all PQE levels due to the nature of the role being fairly autonomous. Although you will sit alongside the wide commercial property team, this will be a stand-alone role handling all cases within construction.

Your responsibilities will include drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of building contracts, consultant appointments and warranty packages. You will also draft and negotiate bonds, parent company guarantees, deeds of novation, letters of intent and letters of reliance along with reviewing development agreements/agreement for lease.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to grow and develop the construction department, due to the level of autonomy that comes with the role. You will also have business development opportunities and in time be part of the recruitment drive for the wider team.
