A global hedge fund is currently looking to recruit a talented commercial lawyer to join their well-established Office of General Counsel team in London on a 12 month contract.
Reporting directly to the Head of Legal you will be involved in:
- Advising and assisting on a wide range of general legal matters, for example, negotiating agreements with service providers, Intellectual Property registration and oppositions, internal property matters, segregated mandates, investment management agreements and regulatory compliance.
- Instructing external Counsel as appropriate in connection with above items and departmental projects as appropriate.
You will be a qualified lawyer with at least 2 years' PQE in the areas of commercial law ideally gained with a leading firm in in-house financial services institution. As part of a small legal team you will enjoy direct and frequent access to the business as well as excellent mentoring and support.
