A staffing specialist with a global presence wish to hire a junior lawyer (NQ-2) to report directly to the Head of Legal (Commercial and Contracts) and advise on all commercial matters for the business. You will work within a fully operational legal team where you will primarily act as lead for UK & Ireland commercial contracts whilst providing some compliance and regulatory advice.
The Role
Your primary focus is to draft and negotiate commercial contracts and terms of business whilst advising the commercial team on possible risks. In some cases you will need to be pragmatic and capable to identify issues which may impact the business commercially, you will also need to confident in providing efficient legal advice. You will support the firms UK and overseas offices on non commercial law matters ranging from Compliance/Regulatory and Dispute Resolution.
The Candidate
To be considered you must have good law firm training from a regarded practice having gained legal experience in either commercial, corporate and regulatory law. The successful candidate must be commercially aware with excellent soft skills as the office is an open culture where working as a team is paramount. The ideal candidate for this position will be NQ-2yrs PQE whilst experience of working in-house would be advantageous.
