Locum Commercial Property Solicitor

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Property Solicitor to join a Local Authority in the West Midlands.

This contract is initially offered for a period of 3 months to cover an increase in workload; however this may be extended further. Both part-time and full-time applicants will be considered.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with previous experience specializing in Commercial Property law, ideally from a Local Authority background. Experienced Lawyers with a Private Practice background with the relevant experience will also be considered.

Duties will include:

• Managing a caseload covering of a broad range of property work
• Drafting, negotiating and completing transactional leases and licenses
• Working on high value projects and large property portfolios on behalf of the council
• Dealing with property sales, acquisitions, disposals and development work

An attractive rate of £25 - £30 per hour dependent upon experience is offered.
