Business Development Manager

A leading provider of Intellectual Property (IP) Services with more than 50 years of experience of serving corporations and law firms all over the world. The client offers a broad range of IP support services, as well as the legal expertise and advice. They have a network of offices in multiple countries to ensure that we can support and provide excellent service locally.

They are currently hiring in Theale, Reading, UK for a Business Development Manager.

Your Role:

• Acquire new customers
• Cross-sell to existing clients
• Adopt a consultative approach and customer focused mindset
• Participate in marketing activities to promote company offering
• Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to manage the sales pipeline
• Participate at trade shows and conferences as and when required
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in economics, marketing or engineering (minimum 2:1)
• 2+ years’ of experience in leading consultancy, sales or marketing with a proven track record of success
• Knowledge of intellectual property is required
• Experience with Salesforce.com or any other CRM is useful
• A self-starter who can work alone, but also as part of a team
• Strong analytical skills
• Comfortable working with international customers and colleagues in a dynamic working environment
• Excellent communication skills in English is a must, other languages are an advantage
