Commercial Litigation Solicitor

There is an exciting opportunity for a commercial litigation solicitor to join a respected law firm in its Northampton office. You will ideally be looking for a commercial litigation solicitor role, able to prove historic successful management of a busy and varied caseload of commercial litigation and some property litigation matters. 

As a commercial litigation solicitor, you will manage your own caseload, liaising closely with all parties, and instructing counsel and experts as necessary. Although there is not an upper limit of PQE for this role, the firm has indicated that if you have around 3-5 years’ PQE within a strong and reputable commercial litigation team as a commercial litigation solicitor, you will likely be at the right level for this position.

Ideally, you will be a qualified solicitor with a proven track record of managing a busy caseload, and will have managed matters along the lines of supplier agreements disputes, service agreement disputes, more general commercial contracts disputes, property disputes such as unpaid rent, service charge disputes, and also dilapidation issues mainly arising from commercial property holdings. Strong financial performance is essential for this role, so an ability to prove positive billing numbers and business development efforts is essential.
