Our client is looking for a corporate / commercial lawyer to join their established legal team and take on a broad range of B2C and B2C work.

Description
Responsibilities of the Legal Counsel will include the following:
- To deliver high quality, timely, cost effective and practical legal advice .
- Develop strong working relationships with colleagues to ensure legal advice is relevant and effective
- Assist General Counsel in reviewing contracts to be signed by the business
- Ensuring compliance by the business with contract approval process
- Ensuring all signed contracts are added to the contract portal
- Providing legal training and updates for the business when required
Profile
Suitable candidates for the role of Legal Counsel will have the following skills & experience:
- A UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
- Proven transactional experience is essential.
- Demonstrable experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts with particular focus on areas such as IT/Procurement, Data Protection,
- Experience in areas such as Competition, Property, Employment would be advantageous.
