Commercial Solicitor

A global financial administration company is seeking a qualified Commercial Solicitor to join their busy In-House team in North Yorkshire. This friendly and supportive team works across a range of legal areas with a strong commercially-focused outlook.

The team requires a pragmatic and highly organised Solicitor to provide advice and support in all relevant areas of law as well as managing a varied and challenging caseload. Responsibilities will include the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of a range of contracts in addition to advising the business on a variety of legal areas, providing training in relevant subject matters and contributing towards the strategic direction of the business.

Knowledge (or previous experience) of business process/service outsourcing would be extremely useful, although not essential. Fundamentally, you'll possess drafting and negotiating skills which are second to none, given the quality of the caseload is second to none.

An attractive remuneration package is on offer for someone with strong commercial experience, demonstrable contract creation and negotiation skills and familiarity with the financial services sector and transactional work, such as M & A's. The company is flexible on length of experience but great communication and influencing skills as well as the ability to work autonomously and effectively under pressure is essential.
