Senior Commodities Lawyer, 7+

This highly regarded European Bank is seeking a legal counsel (Director level) to join their commodities team.  The main focus of this role will be to provide legal support and advice to the commodities trading and trade finance activities of the bank’s Corporate and Investment Banking division. 

You will have trained at a top London firm, have at least 7 years' post-qualification of negotiating and drafting commodities trading, clearing and financing documentation including TofB, ISDAs, TPAs and commodities master agreements, and ideally have worked as an in-house legal counsel in an investment bank or commodities trading house. Experience in metal commodities, brokerage and clearing services for commodity listed derivatives ideal. The successful applicant will be expected to respond quickly to business requests, advise on new products initiatives and set standards for core transaction activity.
