Ryder Reid are working with a highly-acclaimed US law firm to recruit a Practice Group Coordinator to join their London office. This will be a varied role in which you will be responsible for working closely with the London Lawyers but also the Practice Group Heads in the US with particular interest in the Litigation, Arbitration, Finance and Real Estate groups.

Key duties for the Practice Group Coordinator will include:

  • Working with Lawyers and management to execute reporting on firm progress and productivity and implementing practice group strategic initiatives.
  • Providing financial and Utilisation reporting and analysis to necessary stakeholders.
  • Communicating workload expectations to legal staff.
  • Working with Learning and Development, HR, Graduate Recruitment and Marketing on relevant projects.
  • Working with Partners on Associate evaluations and coordinating the hiring of permanent and temporary Paralegals and Lawyers supporting new business initiatives.
  • Handling special and ad hoc projects as required.

The ideal candidate for the Practice Group Coordinator position will have solid relevant experience from a law firm, along with a high level of professionalism and be able to build relationships across levels of seniority. You must have experience of reporting and data analysis, and the ability to run projects autonomously.
