Leading international risk management company are looking to hire a Bill Reviewer/ Auditor to be part of their UK operation. The company has several offices in the UK and are flexible on location and can also facilitate remote/ home working arrangements.
Role Profile:
- Review and analyse submitted legal and vendor invoices for reasonableness and accuracy and ensure compliance with billing guidelines and industry standards.
- Conduct a line by line review of invoices/appeals submitted by counsel and other vendors in order to identify billing issues and inconsistencies with billing guidelines
- Analysis of legal and vendor invoices to evaluate accuracy and reasonableness of billing compared to work performed.
- Collaborate with the Auditing Team, other business units, and external business partners involved in the billing process to ensure efficiency and consistency in the billing process.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a legal assistant and/or secretary, paralegal, lawyer in the insurance sector, or as a claims adjuster.
- Strong organisational, critical thinking, problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex documents, including legal bills, legal letters and documents, and claims notes.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and be proactive in a fast paced environment including the ability to prioritise projects, assignments, and tasks.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively identify and elevate billing issues and trends.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability, self-motivated, efficient and effective.
