AML Lawyer/Manager - Part Time

An excellent opportunity has arisen at a top 10 international firm for an AML Lawyer/Manager.

The role sits within the risk team which works closely alongside the Conflicts and Compliance Analysts. The AML Lawyer/Manager will be the expert in anti-money laundering, sanctions and all related financial crime matters. You can look forward to advising the partners and associates on all aspects of risk and be the escalation point for the compliance analysts when an issue arises.

The AML Lawyer will manage the AML and Sanctions and also will have an AML and Sanctions Paralegal reporting in to them.

This role is part time; it will be 28 hours which could either be four long days, or five shorter days. The role is initially a 12 month fixed term contract, however there is potentially scope for it to become permanent.

Ideally the AML Manager will be qualified in the UK or a similar overseas jurisdiction, for example Australia or New Zealand, and will have experience with AML and Sanctions. The firm will however look at experienced AML Managers who are not qualified if you have experience in a similar international law firm.
