LEADING GLOBAL BROADCASTER
WEST LONDON
A leading global broadcaster is looking to hire a Director of Legal & Business Affairs in its West London office. The business produces and distributes a high quality range of entertainment programmes enjoyed by audiences around the world. It is multi-genre and has an impressive range of programming. The Legal & Business Affairs teams supporting the different business divisions have grown rapidly.
In this Director level role you will supervise, direct and undertake business negotiations. You will assume responsibility for drafting and approving documentation for acquiring TV content and other rights on a commission, co-production, development and acquisition basis for various networks across Europe. You will manage a small local team and oversee, guide and support on day to day acquisition activity.
You will be an experienced lawyer with strong experience working in-house in the Business Affairs or Legal department of a company within the Entertainment field, preferably a Broadcast Television Network. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' post qualification experience and must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a very high volume workload. You will ideally have some management experience.
