Billing Specialist (12 month FTC)

This client is an international law firm with offices across Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. Their areas of work include commercial disputes, insurance, shipping and business & finance.

They are looking to recruit a Billing Specialist to join on a 12 month FTC.

Responsibilities

Deliver a complete and extensive billing service to the business

Working along with the Revenue Controllers to guarantee all disbursements are reviewed and billed on a consistent basis

Communicating with the operation, risk and compliance team to assist maintaining complete and accurate client and matter details on the accounting system

Implement and manage client specific and exception billing rates

Resolve any billing information issues

Preparing, altering and organising the submission of electronic invoices to clients through a range of different e-billing systems. 

Closely working with the Revenue Control Manager, Revenue Controller and other processing teams to implement changes, in order to maximise levels of service and efficiency.

Analyse Interim and final bills to ensure they are compliant with local VAT requirements and abide by the Solicitors Accounts rules requirements. 

Candidate Profile

Previous experience in e-Billing

Elite Enterprise billing experience would be desirable

Understanding of VAT rules, effecting UK and EU billing

Using excel and word at an advanced level

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts rules

Ability to Bill in different currencies

Ability to multi task and prioritise work accordingly

Strong organisational skills
