DP and commercial 3-5 PQE

This Top 100 UK city law firm are looking to hire a mid-level Data Protection associate to join their expanding London team. Due to the introduction of the GDPR in May, many market leading law firms are keen to bolster their practices into a standalone platform which will be able to support the increase in Data Protection needs from their clients.

This role will cover all aspects of Data Protection including advising on compliance, issues in contracts, issues around cyber security and privacy & electronic communication regulations. You will also get the opportunity to deal with freedom of information act issues. This work will be for a broad range of sectors with a particular focus on Education and Technology.

The ideal candidate will have between 3 and 5 years PQE experience gained at a city or regional practice. Experience working in the Education and Technology sectors would be beneficial but is not a pre-requisite.
