Experienced residential property fee-earner sought for Legal 500
THE FIRM
A multi-accredited firm based in the East Anglia region, this Legal 500 firm has been practicing for over a century. With roots in the local community, this full-service firm provides City-level services to its clients at affordable prices. A vacancy has now arisen for an experienced fee-earner to join the property department. This Residential Conveyancing position will be based in the Colchester office.
THE ROLE
Applications for this position are welcome from Solicitors, Legal Executive and Licensed Conveyancers with solid experience in residential property law. You will work on a wide range of residential property matters including landlord and tenant, right to buy and re-mortgages. This role will involve establishing good relationships with local professionals, involved in the conveyancing process, and providing exceptional service to your clients. You will need strong organisational skills and be a committed team player, assisting your colleagues where necessary. You should have good IT skills and be confident with case management systems. You will possess an aptitude for business development and be able to seek out new clients and work to expand on business growth. This position is offered on a full-time and permanent basis.

THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Be a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with around 3 Years PQE;
Have experience of residential property matters;
Possess excellent client care skills;
Be able to use case management systems;
Have a flair for marketing and business development.
