A global media and broadcasting firm based in London are currently looking for a proven Contracts Administrator to join their team. The role will see you supporting a global sports channel, reporting to the VP Legal and Business Affairs
Responsibilities Include:
- Working with appointed software provider and internal project team on the implementation of an upgrade to the existing contracts database and rights management tool ("Contracts Management Tool").
- Summarising complex contracts and extracting key commercial information including rights and obligations.
- Inputting key commercial information, and uploading signed contracts, onto the Contracts Management Tool.
- Bringing Contracts Management Tool fully up to date including clearing a significant backload. This will form the bulk of the role until the Contracts Management Tool is fully up to date and populated.
- Working closely with legal and commercial colleagues to ensure the Contracts Management Tool delivers the needs of the respective teams and business.
- Preparing reports using the Contracts Management Tool.
- Assisting with contract execution and internal contract approval processes.
- Managing filing and indexing of original contracts.
Essential Skills Include:
- Proven track record as a contracts administrator for a media organisation with a good understanding of media rights agreements is essential
- Technically proficient and comfortable working with IT systems, including contracts databases and rights management tools.
- Ability to extract key commercial information (including rights and obligations) from complex contracts with good attention to detail.
- Pro-active with excellent inter-personal, communication, planning and time management skills.
- Organised and able to manage large volumes of contracts.
- Capable of working autonomously and as part of a group.
- Addiitonal languages would be beneficial e.g. French, Arabic.
- International experience preferred.
