A leading global manufacturer is looking to appoint an additional member to its small and friendly In-house legal team. This multi-faceted role will give you the opportunity to cover high-quality commercial work, as well as weighty compliance issues that you can get your teeth stuck into. You will be based in South Yorkshire but will get the opportunity to travel and visit other sites in the US, Canada, Singapore, Chile, Peru, Brazil and China.

The ideal candidate will be UK qualified from NQ level and will have trained either an in-house environment or recognised commercial law firm.

The successful lawyer will have commercial contracts knowledge, drafting and negotiation skills, and demonstrable ability to handle conflict and provide legal advice in an appropriate and timely manner and understand the effects of key regulatory issues on contractual terms. A robust understanding of financial legislation and its implications would be desirable.
