PERSONAL INJURY - ULR FEE EARNER - LIVERPOOL
ULR Fee Earner – An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fee earner with proven experience in handling ULR claims to take on a mixed caseload of litigated and pre-litigated ULR claims within this growing team. Previous experience of managing more junior fee earners is also ideally sought, though this is not absolutely crucial. Our client is looking for candidates who demonstrate good technical ability with a willingness to learn and develop with the department.
SUMMARY
- Job Title: ULR Fee Earner
- Location: Liverpool
- Salary: £18,000 - £25,000
- Reports to: Partner
- Previous experience: Experience in both pre-litigated and litigated ULR claims. Some management or experience supervising more junior fee earners would also be beneficial, though is not absolutely necessary.
AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP WITH THE TEAM
The role offers the chance for a ULR claims handler to join a highly respected name in the defendant insurance market, which acts for an enviable list of ‘blue chip’ clients. What makes the role different is the chance to benefit from the law firm’s fantastic in-house training and career progression program designed to nurture and develop talent.
Fee earners within the ULR department are not only given the chance to progress in the ULR team itself, but are also afforded opportunities to progress into other teams and develop new skills in terms of team leading and management.
THE OPPORTUNITY IN MORE DETAIL
The successful candidate will be expected to manage a mixed caseload of pre-litigated and litigated ULR cases. Fee earners within the team manage cases all the way through from inception to settlement giving them a complete picture and experience of running the file. It also affords them greater client contact.
Applicants should be familiar with pre-litigated and litigated ULR work. In particular, they should be able to demonstrate a full working knowledge of the claims cycle and drafting relevant documentation such as particulars of claim as well as ‘soft’ skills such as negotiation.
MANAGEMENT / SUPERVISION
Previous supervisory or team leading experience is not a pre-requisite for the role. Should you be looking for a step up from solely fee earning then we would like to hear from you. As mentioned above, the department is committed to developing talent so provided you have the right approach, our client will progress you accordingly.
