Working Capital Controller – 9 months FTC

Our Client is a full service commercial law firm based in London’s legal district.  They have circa 50 partners and over 250 employees.

The Finance Team supports the development of the business through budgeting, strategic planning, managing funding requirements and financial reporting activities.  In addition the team also provides end to end transactional services to fee earners including billing, credit control and management of client funds.

They are now looking to hire a Working Capital Controller on a 9 months FTC.

Responsibilities

Organising and attending monthly WIP meetings with partners

Responsible for all activities in the billing life-cycle

Assisting with raising pro-forma, engrossing and other billing related processing at month end

Setting up monthly billing routines

Dealing with ledger queries and credit note requests

Following up on billing promises

Arranging for pro-formas to be raised

Chasing outstanding pro-formas

Processing all WIP write-offs and transfers for

Candidate Profile

Billing experience within a law firm and experience of using Elite

Excellent organisational skills

Strong communication skills

Willingness to work additional hours as required
